Our Story
Hello, my name is Gonzalo
I want to tell you my story.
I was born in Punta Arenas, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia — a place where the wind shapes the soul and the landscapes demand your respect. From a young age, I would set out on fishing trips with my father to the remote islands of Magallanes and the wild beauty of Torres del Paine. Those early moments—surrounded by rivers, glaciers, and silence—sparked a deep love for nature that would define my life.
As I grew older, that love for nature evolved into a passion for movement and challenge—BMX, skateboarding, soccer, surfing, and skiing became my ways of exploring both the world and myself. My search for adventure and new perspectives took me across Europe, Canada, the U.S., Central and South America—but nowhere ever felt like home the way Patagonia does. That deep connection inspired the creation of NomadPatagoniaTravel: more than just a guiding company, it’s a mission. A mission to share Patagonia in a way that honors its people, protects its fragile ecosystems, and redefines the way we travel—with intention, respect, and soul.
